TradieVerse — Legal & Community Guidelines
Version 1.1 — 30 August 2026 · Published by Tradie View Pty Ltd trading as TradieView (ABN 41 687 743 022)
These guidelines govern the TradieVerse trade-to-trade network inside TradieView. They apply in addition to the TradieView Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. The body below mirrors the text shown during TradieVerse onboarding.
TradieVerse Community Guidelines
1. Be a real construction business. Personal social posts belong elsewhere — this is for trade-to-trade networking.
2. Honest representation. Don't claim licences, insurance or experience you don't hold.
3. Surplus marketplace integrity. Items must be genuinely available; "phantom listings" will be removed and accounts warned.
4. Respectful conduct. No abuse, harassment, racism, or attacks on competitors. Disagreements get resolved via DM, not in comments.
5. Pricing claims. Network discounts and package rates you publish are your responsibility. TradieVerse and TradieView don't guarantee them.
6. Verification. Badges require valid licence + insurance + ABN evidence. Submitting false documents results in permanent suspension.
7. Content moderation. We may de-rank or remove content for spam, misleading offers, or repeated guideline breaches.
Privacy & data
Your posts, listings and profile are visible to other TradieVerse members. Direct messages are private but TradieView staff can access them when investigating safety reports. Compliance documents you upload (licences, insurance) are private by default and only displayed as "verified" badges unless you choose otherwise.
Disputes
TradieVerse is a platform for connecting trades — it is not a transaction processor or contract intermediary. Disputes between members must be resolved between members. We provide an in-app report function for safety, scam, or harassment concerns and act on those at our discretion.
Liability disclaimer
TradieVerse and TradieView (Tradie View Pty Ltd) make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy of any company profile, listing price, availability, licence number, insurance status, or workmanship of any member. Engaging a contractor or buying materials through TradieVerse is at your own risk. Always verify licences via your state regulator (e.g. QBCC, NSW Fair Trading, VBA), confirm insurance with the insurer, and conduct your own due diligence before exchanging money or signing contracts.
Terms of service
Use of TradieVerse is governed by the TradieView Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using the network you agree to be bound by those terms in addition to these community guidelines.
